NOTE: The CQB Length RDB is for MAXIM DEFENSE CQB Stocks, Pistol Systems, and Pistol Braces ONLY. If you have a Standard Length Mil-Spec AR-15/AR-9 buffer and spring use the CARBINE LENGTH RDB.

The Roller Delayed blowback system (RDB). Maxim’s new RDB system is designed to convert your straight blowback AR-9 into a highly efficient and reliable roller-delayed system, providing unparalleled performance and accuracy.

One of the main benefits of the RDB system is its ability to install on Most Mil-Spec AR-15/AR-9 easily. The Carbin Length RDB system replaces the buffer and spring of your AR-9, making it simple and easy to install.

The CQB Length RDB system works with Maxim Defense CQB Length Buffer Tubes Only, ensuring a seamless fit and maximum performance. (NOTE: THE RDB System is compatible with most 9mm BCGs on the market. See Below)

Using our RDB system, you’ll experience a drop-in fix for your AR-9 buffer weight issues. Our system is designed to provide a more efficient and reliable operation, reducing recoil and increasing accuracy. The roller-delayed system allows for a smoother cycling action, providing consistent and reliable performance.

In addition, the RDB system offers several key features that make it stand out from other systems on the market. The roller-delayed system uses a locking mechanism that delays the opening of the bolt until the pressure in the chamber has dropped. This feature helps reduce felt recoil and improve accuracy, and making it easier to suppress.

Overall, the Roller Delayed blowback system is a game-changer for anyone considering upgrading their AR-9. It’s easy to install, reliable, and provides unmatched performance and accuracy.

Installation NOTE:
The Roller Delayed Blowback System requires an open channel in your 9mm bolt assembly for the guide rod to pass during fire. For most bolts, this will require you to remove the pinned-in central mass. This central mass must be removable to allow the BCG to function correctly with the RDB; the bolt must remain at its full length without it the central mass removed. Please note that the specifics of this process can vary slightly depending on the make and model of your BCG. Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions when possible. If you’re not comfortable performing this process yourself, consider seeking assistance from a qualified gunsmith. Remember, modifying a firearm can affect its operation and safety. Always test your firearm in a safe and controlled environment after any modification to ensure it is operating correctly.
